Gilgit: In a proactive move towards modernization and efficiency, the Performance Management and Reforms Unit (PMRU) under the Office of Chief Secretary Gilgit-Baltistan organized a one-day special training session for nominated focal persons from various government departments. The focus of the training was on the newly developed e-Governance Systems, including Management Information System (MIS), Assets Management, Human Resource Management (HRM), and Chief Secretary Task Management Systems.

The training session, held at the Chief Secretary’s Office, commenced with introductory remarks by Mr. Sajad Khan, Additional Secretary (Edu) and PMRU, setting the tone for the day’s agenda. He highlighted the significance of embracing technological advancements to enhance the efficiency and transparency of government operations.

The technical team from PMRU took charge of the training, providing hands-on sessions for all nominated focal persons. The interactive sessions covered the functionalities and features of the newly developed e-Governance Systems, emphasizing MIS, Assets Management, HRM, and Chief Secretary Task Management.
